Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, we travel to the south coast which has many weather-worn natural structures and is home to large Australian Sea Lion colony.
At Seal Bay Conservation Park, we will join a ranger guided walk among a rare colony of seals that will teach us all we need to know about these fascinating animals.
Late morning, we will head to Kangaroo Island’s Little Sahara for some sandboarding fun.
Next, we travel to Vivonne Bay to enjoy one of the Island’s most beautiful beaches. This idyllic Aussie beach gives us opportunities to search in rock pools, play beach games or just walk along the shores to enjoy the atmosphere.
Driving the roads around the area provides plenty of kangaroo spotting too. In the late afternoon the final stop on the island will be Clifford’s Honey Farm, which is home to the purest strain of the Ligurian bee. Here you can buy fine honey and other products, which are produced from the Island’s diverse flora.
Late afternoon we head back to Penneshaw to transfer onto the 4.30pm Sealink ferry connection. A light pizza dinner will be on offer at Normanville on our way to Adelaide.
